We are excited to introduce our newest employee, Nick Wells!

As we at Dogwood continue to grow, our work related to building websites has increased. Thomas and I began to review 2019 and make plans for 2020 which included creating a profile for a new hire in the first quarter of 2020. We knew that our next hire would be someone with an eye for design along with the ability to learn how to build and maintain sites in both WordPress and Drupal.

I had a couple of people in mind that I thought could be a fit with the first person on my list being Nick Wells. I shot him an email to see if we could meet and give Thomas an opportunity to get to know him. A couple weeks later, and Nick’s accepted our offer to join the team.

I knew Nick was creative and a quick study from when we met earlier in the year. He could carry a conversation on anything from audio, video, to design in general. Plus he knew a lot about dog behavior because of his wife Ashton! He seemed able to become an expert on whatever he put his mind to.

He earned a bachelor’s degree at the Art Institute of Atlanta where he focused on audio production. Most recently he has freelanced helping with audio and video projects including after effects animations.

Nick has already hit the ground running this week working on his first web design project for us along with a client web training and audio consult. Not bad for the first couple of days!

We are looking forward to getting to know Nick even better over the days ahead and excited to have him on the team. We are better prepared now than ever before to handle building your new website, managing your content, shooting your videos or taking care of your audio projects. Let’s talk!
