Dogwood is made up of a group of people who are passionate about what we do and love being able to help organizations in our community succeed. This is the story of us!

Erin is one of our 3 digital media specialists. She is the most recent one to join the “social circle” as we like to call it, and it seems like she’s been here forever! She is a graduate of Auburn University, a lover of the outdoors, coffee, a good book, and Jesus! Erin is one of those people that you just can’t help but love. We are so thankful to have her on the Dogwood team!

Here is Erin’s Story:

After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Communications, Erin moved to Montgomery to be a part of a local church plant. She knew that the Lord had called her to Montgomery for that reason, but she wasn’t too sure about the career path that she would end up on.

While she was working as a marketing director for a local orthodontic office she began to grow and learn to love marketing in a whole new way. Erin and Emily, another one of our digital media specialists, met at a Bible study and got to talking about their passions and interests. Emily learned that Erin loved marketing and she knew that Dogwood was hiring! So, Emily let Brian know that she had found the PERFECT fit! After a few interviews, Erin joined the team!

One of the first things that impressed Erin about Dogwood was how much they cared for their own team and how much they desired to come alongside each other to help the business succeed.

“My coworkers care about helping me grow in my skills as well as care about my life outside of the office with my family and friends.”

Erin Roberts

When asked to describe the Dogwood personality she said, “personable, full of integrity, and FUN!” Each employee has high expectations for their work and desires to give each client exactly what they want. It truly is a team! (Maybe we should get jerseys?!)

Even in the short time that Erin has been at Dogwood, she has already seen growth in her professionalism, discipline, ability to be flexible, and take initiative. She hopes that as she continues in her journey at Dogwood she will continue to learn just to give anything a try and grow along the way!

Narrowing down the most valuable service that Dogwood offers isn’t easy. She is of course a little biased of the social media side of things and says that she sees so much importance in marketing through social media and regularly getting in front of your audience and connecting with them. Although, she has also learned a lot about the importance of a well-designed and functional website. This is the launchpad of so many things within your company. It all starts on the website!

Funny Erin Story

A fun fact about Erin is that she gets the hiccups every single day, without fail. It didn’t take long for the rest of the office to learn this about her. She told us that everybody always tries to scare her but nobody has ever succeeded in making them go away with their many scare tactics. Of course, Brian took this as a challenge. So, every time she got the hiccups he found a way to scare her. After about 200 times of trying to scare them away, Erin was quite fearful and still hiccuping! He never succeeded, and we all got a good laugh. She’s still hiccuping, but Brian hasn’t given up hope!

Dogwood is made up of a bunch of different personalities, backgrounds, gifts, and passion, but together we make such a good team! As Erin described it, “We’re like a tree with lots of branches! A Dogwood tree!!!”

We are so glad to have her fun, hardworking, and loving spirit as part of our team at Dogwood! She does an incredible job at caring for each one of her clients, getting to know their needs, and going above and beyond to make them feel as if they’ve received way more than a service from Dogwood, but a friend. If you need help knowing where to start in the world of digital marketing, Erin would be happy to help! Get to know Erin, get to know Dogwood. Give us a call today!
